You can use Live Photos for the Photo watch face on Apple Watch. To set that up:
- On your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, in the Apple Watch app:
- My Watch > Photos > Synced Album - choose the album on your iPhone that contains your Live Photo(s).
- On Apple Watch, either:
- Force press on your current watch face > keep swiping left until you reach the New "+" button and tap it, then tap Photo (or tap Customise under your existing Photo watch face) > Choose your Live Photo. Or;
- Go the Home screen (single press on the Digital Crown) > Photos > whilst browsing your photos, press on the one you want to use as a watch face > tap Create Watch Face.
- There is also a Photo Album watch face, which uses different photos from the synced album each time.
- On your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, in the Apple Watch app:

Oct 4, 2015 9:27 PM in response to Jonathan UKby prijoestiadi,Hi Jonathan,
Thank you for your help, but when i did what you told me, i got a kind of screen saver (for some pictures) on my watch, not an animated picture (one pic)...like Mickey Mouse or Butterfly or Flower faces.
Perhaps i should insert a photo with gif format.

My reply referred to using Live Photos - this is a new feature that is available on the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus:

Under watchOS 2, you can choose a Time Lapse watch face, which will show a short video of Mack Lake, New York, Hong Kong, London, Paris, or Shanghai.
