I have a mac mini with 16 gigs of ddr3 memory running intel core i7 with a 2.6 gig processor. Theater day, I upgraded to El Capitan and encountered mail issues. Outgoing mail does not function. I tried using different ports but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Same issue. The solution seems to be either fix your SMTP settings or wipe out your account(s) and set them up again. Check this thread: El Capitan Mail flashing problem

That did the trick! Wiping out my account and setting it back up again enabled me to send outgoing mail! Thanx so much!
Outgoing mail issues with El Capitan. Tried different ports but nothing works. Any ideas?
