My MacBook Air 2013 says " OS X cannot be installed on "Macintosh HD".

IM trying to update my MacBook Air 2013 to the " OS X El Capitan " but say I can not download it on my computer why? Is there any way to solve this?

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Hope you have made a backup before trying to install OS X El Capitan.

Installer reports "OS X could not be installed on your computer" or "This disk cannot be used to start up your computer"…
