Music missing

The music on my mac will not move over to my Ipad 2. There are about 30 albums missing. Ive tried switching `I cloud off and back on, syncing everything, ticking all the songs. Cant think wjhat else to do. I can see all the albums on my Mac but only half of them are on my Ipad.
