my friend has an iPhone 6 but she forgot the password. also, she hadn't created a touch id. the iTunes on her laptop is not detecting the phone.
can her phone be restored through my iTunes? (her phone isn't synced with my iTunes, will that be a problem?)

If its the passcode she has forgot iphone needs restore .
Turn iPhone off
Connect lead to USB on your PC
Press & hold power button down Don't let go on iPhone .
Connect lead to iPhone wait for restore .
You may need to do this more than once.
