Has anyone replaced the hard drive in their 21 inch iMac this year

MY iMac.s hard drive has failed so I'm asking has anyone one replaced theirs through an authorised sevice centre this year

yyes I have phoned bjt they wouldn't give me a price over the phone said I had to take it in and maybe 4 days wait . I'm in cairns far north Qld and of course it's a long weekend to boot

I have a 500 gig hd would imagine a1tb had would be the replacement these days
