I want to buy a new mac monthly - 250$ per month - should I have a social security number?

In the US, the programs for financing a large Purchase from Apple such as a computer were financed through Barclay's bank. Barclay's issues you a credit card, and puts the charges on the card. (So you must be credit worthy in the US, [and especially must have an actual income] to qualify.)


If and only IF you pay at least the minimum required, on time, every month, and are NEVER late, the finance charge is suspended and you do not have to pay any finance charge.


NB >> If you fail to make any payment on time, or skip a payment, finance charges are NOT suspended, and you have to pay ALL the finance charges retroactive to day 1, at stupidly high credit-card rates.
