Calendar app deletes past events from subscribed calendar even when 'sync all events' is chosen.

As the title says, all the past events on my calendar deletes itself after a few days or so. I've searched for solutions online and have been told that I need to select 'sync all events' on settings. I did this and left it for a few days to see but the previous events are still being deleted. Solutions anyone?
