Install El Capitan could not open error

I got an official copy from a local authorized retailer a day ago and when ever I launch the app to install I keep receiving this error. I had the same issue installing Yosemite but eventually it worked. Does anyone know why this may be an issue? The file was copied to my iPhone and then I copied it to my Mac, if that could effect any packages.
