Q: Troubles with Keychain

One machine is 21.5 Mid 2011 the other is 27 late 2012 both running 10.11.1.

The 2012 is running great with no problems regarding Keychain. I can connect to iCloud okay.

The 2011 is all messed up with keychain and can't connect to iCloud.

Boot and here comes

OS X wants to use the "Local items" keychain enter password. I used the same password I just typed and it shakes, meaning incorrect. Not knowing what it wants only way out is Cancel.

Two "Keychain Not Found" pops up next both saying "A keychain cannot be found to store " file name " with options to Cancel or Reset To Defaults.

A third pops up with "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my id" with two option to 'Later" or "iCloud Preferences"

At the same time Photos is trying to open but nothing happens with it until I hit Cancel and Later. Photos starts.

Another  Keychain Not Found pops up with "A keychain cannot be found to store "registrationV1." with options to Cancel and Reset to Defaults. I cancel.

and it pops up again and I cancel.

Another pops up with "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with "my id" with two option to 'Later" or "iCloud Preferences" and I click Later

Another pops up with "A keychain cannot be found to store "registrationV1." Which I cancel again.

I close Photos

Now  the machine is up and running. I can run stuff as long as I don't need Keychain or iCloud. I've looked here and on the Net for help and tried a several things but I can't seems to find anything to fix the Keychain. This is day three for trying now I ask. I don't even know where to post this. Thanks for any help.........

    Hello bk01eeh,

Thank you for contributing to the Apple Support Communities.

If I understand right, you're seeing a message pop up regarding the local keychain on your Mac (not iCloud Keychain), and your password isn't accepted. Also, you're alerted that your iCloud password can't be stored and your Mac can't connect to iCloud services.

What happens if you click "Reset to Defaults" in the pop up box that appears? This will reset the keychain on your Mac to factory settings, and your previous keychain will be set aside. You can also reset your keychain using the steps in Resetting your keychain in Mac OS X.

If you still see the other iCloud alerts after resetting your keychain, sign out and back in to your iCloud account from Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud.

    Best Regards.
