USB SuperDrive

Hi All, my daughter using the USB SuperDrive with her MacBook Air to watch dvds. Its locked on region 2. She is watching region 2 and region 4 dvds. If I get her a new SuperDrive will she be able to use one to watch region 2 dvds and the other one for region 4 ones? Would that work? Thank you
