Some photos missing from iMovie photos library.

Hi All,

I have just attempted to continue working on a project in iMovie that I started before upgrading to el captain.

My existing movie was still were I left off but when I click onto photos library in iMovie and sort by year 2015 and scroll through there are a lot of pictures missing?

Has anyone else had this issue? Or can someone please check and see if you are also missing pictures since the upgrade to El Captain.

I am reluctant to try and repair the photos library using cmd and option when opening the photos app as I believe will re-upload my entire photos library to iCloud and at over 50gb it will take weeks. Can anyone confirm that the repair will do this?

Current specs and other info:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014)

2.6HGz i5, 8gb 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel Iris 1536 MB

Running - OS X El Capitan Version 10.11

iMovie - Version 10.0.9

I have no updates available in the app store.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
