my iPad had to be reset and now everything that wa ps saved in my iPad is gone. Why would an update do this? And why is tech support so difficult to obtain? stupid Apple Products seem to be designed to break.

Is there a problem restoring from your backup? Or have you failed to
maintain a backup?
You are correct - most upgrades complete without problems. When
there is a problem, your backup is your rescue. No device on any
operating system should be the sole source of any important data,
media, document etc. The question is not whether any given device
will fail, but when it will.
Why did the latest update **** up my iPad. Was forced to reset to factory settings. tech support is appalling.
