I have lost my itunes library

I have lost my iTunes library as a result of upgrading to Windows 10. Windows 10 didn't work and my computer reverted back to Windows 8.1.

I have tried looking for the previous versions of iTunes folder as recommended elsewhere in these forums but unfortunately there is no such folder. If it ever existed it had gone.

I can get all of the songs I purchased in iTunes but it is the ones I ripped from my CD collection that I cannot get back. Do I have to manually rip them all over again (please tell me not)

I have six apple devices all linked to this one lost iTunes library. Is there any way of building the library back up from each of the devices. I have an iPod that has all of my music on it. Can I use this to create a new iTunes library. If so how can I do this.

Any help is welcomed as I don't relish having to rip all of my CD's again.

I will now make sure I back up my iTunes Library in future (lesson learnt)

Thanks.
