iI've upgraded my notes app to the new version, I'm creating a new note in iCloud, but the new formatting bar at the bottom only shows options for photo and drawing, it doesn't show the other options (for checklist, text formatting etc). What's going on?

I Think I have a partial answer - the extra icons are in the keyboard shortcut bar (you have to swipe up at top of the keyboard). But in all the screenshots I've seen, they also seem to be present at the bottom of the screen, when the keyboard is closed.
You have to activate the extra icons on top of the keyboard by Settings>Keyboard>Shortcuts
