ios9 installed update. Now ipad2 won't do anything apart from display a data cable icon with arrow pointing to iTunes icon. Thats it....nothing else. Its frozen up.

ios9 installed itself and then an update. Now ipad2 won't do anything apart from display a data cable icon with arrow pointing to iTunes icon. Thats it....nothing else. Its frozen up. Plugged it to power, turned it on and off...........Nowt. Any ideas? It worked perfectly well before now its useless.

iPad 2, iOS 9.0.1

SOrry to tell you but when you were installing the firmware on your ipad something went wrong and the firmware could not be installed.

so now you could do one thing


1. Plug in your ipad to computer

2. Go to your ipad summary on itunes

3. Then click restore ipad

4. it will ask to restore ipad to the latest firmware

5. Agree and install the firmware and your ipad will be restored

6. Now install the latest backup to your ipad
