cant turn on icloud in imovie

IMovie 10.0.9 cant see my older movies in Icloud.. Also wont upload new files. Message appears on theatre page saying ' turn on Icloud Drive'

Icloud fully configured and all other apps (so far ) seems to work OK and sync with Icloud and other devices.

Did clean install of El Capitan because of crash during update then re-installed apps.
