iMac iTunes and Remote App

I have iTunes running on my new iMac and the REMOTE app installed on my iPhone and iPad. The app connects and appears to work properly on everything except any Home Movies I try to play. When I select a Home Movie, it just reverts to playing a purchased Movie from the main Movie section. Any ideas?
