Entering numbers into a table in Pages

Hi Everyone,

I've created a table in Pages and I want to enter a series of numbers into the columns. I entered 0000 (4 zeros) but when I go to the next cell, it changes to 0 (1 zero). Similarly, when I enter 0001, it changes to 1. I want the cell so read 0000, 0001, 0002, etc. but they keep changing to 0,1,2 etc. How can I get those zeros to remain?

Cheers,

Mal

The following setting when used for cell formatting will allow you to retain four-place number sequences (e.g. 0000, 0001, etc.).
