Notes data loss

The Situation I suffer currently from is by losing my work created in Notes within iCloud.com using Windows / Web-Browser.

Three hours of work lost - now a second time. First time I thought, I might be the Problem, but there must be something else.

I do not understand this. During my editing and work in the note, I did changed to other notes and back and all my notes were there. Then I logged off and five mintes back in just to find out my work was gone and Content of that particular note reset to a point in time where it was in the morning.

During my work I did not worked on any other mobile device or PC.

Why does this happen and what do I need to do in order to avoid such situations making sure data entered through Windows / Explorer Interface is not lost again.

Your help is much appreciated.

I probably should add the following; meanwhile I found out it was not Microsoft Explorer but Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 where I am having this Problem. i did some Tests using same Approach in Firefox and that appears to work... but I Need to investigate further..

Hi there,

Same problem here, and I know where it comes from: in ANY browser new notes (upgraded) lose connection and stop saving changes after 1 minute.

You can see that on the left side where it is marked 'last change x min ago' instead of 'Just now'.

That started 1 week ago. Previous error message 'Notes cannot refresh and needs to be reloaded...reload now?' disappear and new problem came out.

This is why I am sure Apple tried to solve previous problem by generating new one.

I hope they will fix it.

Meanwhile, before leaving notes, I do a copy-paste in a new note to be sure it will be saved.

I repeat, I encountered the problem in ALL browsers (Edge, IE, Chrome).

I just saw these problems and thank goodness I am not the only one with this problem. I have been on to Apple and they have escalated this to their product specialist and when he could not help, they have now escalated this to an engineer (I have not heard anything back as yet).

If I create a note on the iPhone, when I open icloud on chrome, IE or Firefox (on any PC) I try and make some modifications but I cannot save from the web browser and asks if I want to stay on page or leave without saving successfully.

I hope to hear if anyone has solved this problem as I am always on NOTES and use the web browser whenever I don;t have my iPhone or iPad close by.
