Apparently Apple is not doing anything about this. Other forums have examples of beta testers who have told Apple this before release, and did just ignore this. Someone else suggested to download the app Downcast. I have just done so three days ago, and it works even better than Apples. You can search programs directly from the Downcast app. I was never able to do that in Apples own podcast.

It is unfortunately not free, however reasonably cheap. It has helped me move on, because I got fed up with the way Apple ignored this problem they created themselves.

I will give it a try! Could not be worse!
