Oct 11, 2016 10:30 AM in response to dodzyby DanTogliatty,I have heard that iOS 10.1 will go live during next week. Could you please update your device to beta 3 to know that lag with camera is not repeat again?

Oct 11, 2016 11:49 AM in response to DanTogliattyby dodzy,I Can confirm that the camera is still fine on Beta 3 (3 sets or 10 calls and zero lag on 3 tests). So whatever it was, they seem to have it sorted. I would be more confident now that the official release will now eliminate the issue for others who are still on current version.

Oct 11, 2016 12:07 PM in response to DanTogliattyby dimascer,Hello. No lag on ios 10.1 public beta 3 iphone 7 either. The release is stable on my phone also in other respects.
Very probably that the final release of 10.1 will contain this camera correction as well.
If not, I will try to downgrade to 10.0.2 and update to beta 3 and stay there - already downloaded the beta ipsw files

Oct 16, 2016 2:39 PM in response to dimascerby hamzajanjua,I Was one of the first people to post in this thread, it started with my 6s last year, got a replacement unit this April which still had the issue. Got a new 7 Black hoping issue would finally be fixed, no luck. Then got a Jet Black 7 and still no luck.
Just read through this thread after a long time, waiting for OS 10.1, fingers crossed

Oct 17, 2016 12:59 AM in response to pjosborneby cpoenariu,Hello *
i made the update to 10.1 (14B71) (beta 3 i suppose), almost a week ago, in hope that the lag issue is gone, unfortunatelly isn't. I have a 6S.
In the first 3-4 days no lag appeared and though i didn't want to take any photos, i keep opened the camera app to check the lag issue and my thought was that the issue was gone forever because i didn't had the issue.
Today i wanted to take a picture and surprise....i have seen again the lag (3-4 sec.) really dissaponting..
Maybe with this new update 10.1 the lag is not appearing so often, but it's still here ! Please fix this, apple.
Thx.

Oct 17, 2016 5:43 PM in response to gusseinby yugger233,Hey guys, been reading the threads and monitoring progress with hopes of an easy fix. I am experiencing same issue with an iPhone 6. Never had the problem running iOS 9.xx. It started with 10 and has persisted with last 2 updates. additionally, There is a significant lag when opening other apps such as facebook and calengoo (app opens but is blank for a couple seconds) which is new with ios 10. Very disappointing to say the least. I use a lot of photos so the phone is a 64 gig and has about 10 gig free. I saw some posts referred to deleting pictures to improve performance but then why spend the money on extra memory if the phone can;t use it efficiently, it doesn't make sense.
Anyways, I wanted to let you know I appreciate your efforts and troubleshooting and hope to see a resolve soon from apple.

Oct 18, 2016 5:28 AM in response to dodzyby hamzajanjua,For Step 5/6 you posted to identify the problem on page 18, you actually dont need to let the call connect. In my case I can just press send and then press end after a second. After 5-6 calls the camera hangs for a few seconds, after 10 calls it hangs for a much longer time

Oct 18, 2016 7:26 AM in response to hamzajanjuaby serdarkocak,oh god, thats not good news! a couple of weeks ago, we almost threw a party celebrating of possibility for getting rid of this lag with upcoming 10.1 official update.
even some members confirmed that with 10.1 betas their lag had gone. but now you say 10.1 beta 3 still has the lag! i am confused and disappointed again

Don't worry!
I understand that this iphone 7 user is still on 10.0.x waiting for the ios 10.1 patch.
The other affected user said that in ios 9 didn't have this bug so it is not the same one that it is triggered by making calls.
I'm not in beta program but if some experienced thread contributors have said over and over again that the calling-camera bug is fixed, i'd give them full credit and keep calm .
Regards!
