Due to error 500 (Apple Music Playlist)

Same thing over here too. I tried to add a playlist to my account for weeks now. Nothing worked. I even canceled my apple music subscription after the trial period and resubscribed today hoping this would somehow reset my account. It didn't. Still no luck.

Me ocurre lo mismo, siempre con listas que he borrado y quiero volver a añadir.

En iTunes me da error 500.

En iPhone/Ipad me cuelga la App Apple music cuando intento añadir listas que antes he borrado.

Si añado una nueva lista de Apple music, la primera vez me deja a añadirla, pero si la borro y quiero volverla a añadir no me deja.

It happens the same, always with lists that I deleted and I want to add again.

ITunes gives me error 500.

In iPhone / iPad, the App AppleMusic closes when I try to add lists that were previously deleted.

If I add a new Apple music list the first time let me add, but if I delete the list and want to add it back again will not let me add the list.

Same problem here. Once I was able to add the playlist, but then I deleted and now I can't add it again because of error 500.

Hoy este problema, en mi caso se ha solucionado. Apple Music me permite de nuevo añadir listas anteriormente borradas, y además estas listas se me sincronizan sin problemas entre distintos dispositivos. (Mac mini, iPad e iPhone). (España). 🙂✅

Today this problem, in my case has been solved. Apple Music allows me to add new lists previously deleted, and in addition, these lists are synchronized seamlessly between different devices. (Mac mini, iPad and iPhone). (Spain). 🙂✅

It seams it has fixed itself. I'm now able to add the playlist to my music! ;-)

Same here, now it works fine again.

I just started having this problem yesterday, and only with this specific playlist. It seems I attempted to add this during yesterday's outage, and now it doesn't work for me. I can add other Apple Music playlists just fine.

I am experiencing the same problem and found a workaround. It doesn't solve the problem but it allows you to easily add the playlists to your library, under the "My Playlists" section instead of the "Apple Music Playlists".

1. Click the "..." button next to the playlist name (first screenshot)

2. Select "Add to playlist", then "+ new playlist" (second screenshot)

This will create a new unnamed playlist containing all the songs from the Apple Music playlist

3. Give your playlist a name. that's it (third screenshot)

Please note:

- It might not work if you have only subscribed to Apple Music without iTunes in the cloud (former iTunes Match). Not sure, feedback welcome.

- The playlist will not update if the Apple Music playlist is updated

I've also been seeing this error today and yesterday, so I guess it isn't fully fixed yet.

Today I am also experiencing the same error when trying to add the curated lists from UKF to my library.

What I tried to do in iTunes was:

1. Searching for UKF
2. Select curator to see the page
3. Select playlist
4. Click on "+ADD" button

Then I get the message "Adding <playlist name here> to Library" Due to error 500.

If I try to add the lists in iOS it seems it works, after tapping on "subscribe" I can see the lists under "playlists" in my library.

Any hint how to debug or fix the issue?

That's crazy - I was searching for a solution to this and was trying to add the exact same playlist!

What are the chances?!

Actually, I spend some time with apple support and provided some debug information.

They answered that actually it is a issue with the lists in iTunes. It seems the issue is in Apple Music itself, nothing to do with our iTunes or Apple Music account.

They told me they are trying to fix it.
