itunes don't recognise iphone anymore in W10

I have the same issue as may others. Everything was good on my windows 10 box until I updated iTunes to 12.3.0.44. Now iTunes will not see device iPhone 6 nor iPhone 6s. Windows sees it just fine but iTunes will not. Apple support simply says that it is my problem because I run Windows 10. They only want to help me when using an Apple PC.
