Desktop enlarge and apple start up logo enlarged

Hi All,

My desktop has enlarged suddenly along with the apple start up bar when powering on and the finder and my icons on desktop have become smaller - i have tried all the command features etc... and the zoom out etc... but nothing seems to be working, any help would be great!
