Phone is Burning Hot, Screen is Black

TThanks for that comment my iPhone is the same. I've got the same problem phone is warm and black scree. What have you done that I could try. Should I ring Apple?

This is probably a software problem just try restoring the ios using itunes or update if you can and it should fix the issue if not apple should replace it as a safety hazard.

If your screen popped up on one side, this might be a battery problem. Switch off the phone and take it to an Authorized Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place to get it checked.

Stop using it and plugging it in. Power it off and leave it tang way until you can get it checked out. You could well have a very serious battery issue and you should take it in to an Apple Store or authorized service center as soon as you can. Even if out of warranty, it's important to get it seen to as some rare Lithium battery failures can be serious (start fires and such).

if it got that hot, and is swelling enough to push out the display, that battery issue could be serious.
