what macbooks are compatible with osx el capitan
Articles I have read suggest that older macs can have compatibility problems with OSX El Capitan.
I have a Macbook Pro made in 2011. Is this too old for El Capitan?

Chances are, your Mac can run El Capitan.
Most Mac computers introduced in 2007 or later can be upgraded to El Capitan.
