The screen on iphone 6 Plus (iOs 9.0.2) has suddenly become un-responsive. Turning off the handset by pressing the key on the right side does bring up the 'slide to....' but because the screen is not responsive I cannot reboot!

I have the same problem. Have tried to switch off the phone by pressed the power button on the side. The power button would not respond. The screen of my phone has gone all black, with a little spinning dot in the centre, which keeps on spinning in circles non-stop.
Basics from the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
I am experiencing the same problem. And have been since yesterday afternoon. But it's only getting worse. If anyone know a what will help let us know. I've tried the "basics" restarting, resetting, backing up and restoring, and restRting as new and still have the problem come back. I had a protection screen and took it off thinking it was not helping but the problem it still here.
also my phone has not been dropped
