I have a gray bar in the message section of my iPhone with 0.00 in it. Someone said I need to toggle the character count off how do I do that?

Close the app and reopen in. Double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them.

At least until Apple fixes it.

I actually did a hard shut down and that helps. But then it will happen again. I found that I canstill send a text but cannot see what I am sending.

I actually need to get to Apple and find out why this is happening since I updated to the new IOS.
