My Safari stopped working...it's been 6 months that I switched from Chrome and now after I upgrade to El Capitan Safari doesn't open any website. I tried to disable DNS prefetching altogether. But it didn't work.
Is there any preference or cache that I can delete in order to get it to work?

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab then click: Remove All Website Data
Quit then relaunch Safari to test.
What happens when you try to load a web page?
I finally solved the problem, somehow Safari didn't like my VPN settings (Chrome handles it with no problems). I deleted VPN, restart machine Safari is back, I reinstalled VPN settings and so far so good.

The problem is repeating now every day. Safari will stop connecting to the internet. I can connect with Chrome, Firefox, Mail, Airmail, etc. Safari drops the connection when I turn on my VPN
