iBook hidden or lacking functionality?

Moving audiobooks out of the music app was long overdue. Happy they are now accessible via a separate app.

I'm a veteran DockMarket Bookmark app user, which will no longer work.....I suspect because the storage location of the books changed. It doesn't appear that an IOS 9 version is forthcoming. Bookmark was very full featured. Are any of the following features available in iBooks, but not readily apparent?

1) ability to mark tracks as "unread" or "completed".

2) bookmarks.....as many as you desire.
