How to Mass Delete Music Downloaded on Phone?

I had sync'd my whole music library to my phone before signing up for Apple Music. Now that I'm signed up and all my music/playlists are on the cloud I'd like to remove the music library from the phone and only keep a playlist or two on my device. The rest of the stuff I'll download if I really want it when on the go. Is there a way to mass remove the file? I can go to each one and press the "..." button and select "Remove Download" but to do this for every song will take me forever.

#1 - Make sure you have those music files backed up or on a computer BEFORE you delete them. Because if you ever have to re-download them again from Apple Music/ICML, they will arrive with Apple's DRM attached (which will prevent you from listening to them if you ever cancel your Apple Music subscription).

Ok - so much for the Public Service Announcement.

#2 - You can go to Settings/General/Storage & ICloud Usage/Manage Storage/Music and delete the actual files from there BUT I am not sure if that will make the Music app realize that the downloads were removed. (Used this method for another reason.)

#3 - You can add all the music to one large playlist and then hit the 3 dots next to the playlist name and say remove downloads. Again, I know that this will work if you added the songs AS a playlist, not sure if it would work in this case.
