Favourites bar: Option-Click on Bookmark folders broken

Is it just my Safari 9.0 doing this?

Normal behaviour:

• Bookmark folders with a square icon beside their name open all included bookmarks in individual tabs.
• Bookmark folders with an inverted caret (upside-down ˆ beside their name are drop-down lists of the bookmarks within.

I used to be able to use Option+click to select one of the bookmarks within.

This no longer works for me in Safari 9.
