Un-removable "Notes" folder in Notes

I had the same problem. After upgrading to High Sierra 10.13.1, I was able to delete a previously un-deletable folder.

I solved this problem instantly and completely!!😁

(caution!!!:please backup your notes data another place beforehand because all data will delete)

system preference

icloud

manage

delete notes data

now I'm not annoying!!🙂

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

i have same problem. I had it for ages. Never found a solution. It's very annoying. I can't delete the 'on my mac' section either...

Uncheck the "On My Mac' account, it will not be there after you do

You can't, stop wasting your time. Put your Random Notes in it and delete the Random Notes folder

bit annoying though. apple releases plenty of stuff that you can't delete (e.g. game center, chess?!!). it's my F*#€in computer and paid s£@9loads of money for it ...i should be at least able to delete what i want. ...tax-evasion-share-buyback wa*k*rs! 😠😮😉

It is your Mac, but it is not your copy of OS X, you have a license to use (under Apples terms), still annoying though 🙂

yes you're right. I guess not many of us read the terms and conditions ...they're way too long : )

All operating systems have the same terms, Microsoft, Apple, makes no difference
