If I've updated my phone, why don't I have the new emojis?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.0.2
There are NO new Emojis with iOS 9.0.2, nor did Apple state there were.

Then why does everyone else have them?
There were new Emojis with iOS 8, there are no new ones with iOS 9. If other folks have new Emojis, they may be running a beta version iOS 9.1.
