I Am keen to restore the fonts to previous types as I do not Iike the font in ios9. Is there a way to do this?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.0.2

You cannot restore the previous font types.

However, you can change the appearance of the type at Settings > General > Accessibility (e.g., larger, bold).

This change would be make effect in text style and size, That would impact from whole iOS device after successful reboot.

See example with difference of before and after screen.
