iPod frozen...hard reset does nothing.

Model A1367.

My iPod had been working well until now. I went to stop the music from playing but was unable to "slide to unlock". It's just frozen. I did a hard reset and still doesn't work. Unfortunately I don't have access to iTunes at the moment.

Can anyone please advise me on what to do in the meantime?

Not sure what current iOS is running. I very rarely sync with iTunes as I only use it for music and nothing else.

Thanking you in advance.

No. You need a computer with iTunes for the other actions of:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
