Yes there is. You have to login to Icloud and simply do a backup or put the photos on Icloud photos.

I have logged into iCloud. There are about 50 photos in my iCloud, but 400+ on my Apple TV Photo Stream. I don't know of a way to back up my Apple TV to retrieve those photos. Is that even possible?
