A couple just brought their iPad to my shop stuck on the Recovery Mode. I managed to get it out of the Recovery Boot Loop after they unsuccessfully tried to upgrade to 9.0.2, but then I am also having the same issue. I've tried manual IPSW files through iTunes, both 9.0 and 9.0.2 and both fail. Any ideas?

We have three iPads that are behaving like this. Two are on 4.3.3 and one is on 4.3.5. I'll follow your thread to see if you get any replies. Feel free to follow mine. I used a tool described here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7253844 to get them out of the recovery loop and back into the IOS that was on them.

I actually have the full registered version of their "iPhone Care Pro" software, which has saved my rear and plenty of devices for the small cost I paid for it, but still can't get me up to date on this iPad. That tool was actually what got it out of the boot loop to begin with. Apple just really needs to allow us access to signed IPSW files for situations like this.
I'm having the same issue, tried using multiple cables, windows and mac machine, no change. Every time I update, it throws a error code 9 and a softbrick recovery mode. I am also having the same issue with 4.3.5 as well.

If you have the Apple ID / password .
Turn off find my iPad .
Then Erase all content & setting.
Then set backup over WiFi .
Since ios 7 software updates
And almost everything can be done over WiFi .
We haven't used our PC
For iphone/ iPad for over 2 years .
just use WiFi .

Unfortunately, this is IOS 4.3.5, no OTA available.
DONT EVEN TRY TO UPDATE. I have extensively used an iPad 2 64GB wifi running iOS 9.0.2, and IT LAGS A LOT. Animations are slow and drop frames, safari and App Store constantly crash, and doesn't sync with iTunes properly. The new features are Not worth the performance decrease. I wish I had iOS 4.3.5 back.
