Hi All, Wondering if anyone knows how to "partition" a Time Capsule hard drive? FYI: I have a 1TB iMac ...but a 2TB Time Capsule, so I'd like to use the remaining Time Capsule hd space for extra media storage, Thanks

1. Aside from creating disk images on it, there isn't.
2. You should store the extra media on a regular external drive instead of the Time Capsule, and back up both drives to it.

Just curious: When you mention "disk image" ... I'm wondering if that is something different than the usual Time Machine backup that I'll be using the time capsule for ? Also, you implied I could also use time capsule to back up "both drives" to it ?

1. Yes. These can be created in the Disk Utility.
2. Format or partition the external drive as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), open the Time Machine pane of System Preferences, click on Options, and remove it from the exclusion list.
