New iPod Touch 6th Gen is not working

iPod Touch - Model A1574

Bought the new iPod Touch on September 19th. Device worked fine until mid-day today. I received a notice to upgrade to iOS 9.0.2; however, I postponed the installation for this evening - now my device does not work. I push the on/off button at the top and the home button and nothing happens. I also tried hooking the device to my Mac to see if it would trigger and turn on, but again nothing.

Please advise on what I should do. Wondering if there is a way for me to reset the device to get it working again.

Thanks!

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
