Q: iCloud not enough storage even though I have all space available

I have a free 5 GB iCloud account, the problem is everytime I want to back up iCloud it says storage not enough. I have 5GB of space available. What gives?
I'm using iPhone 6 64GB, iOS 9.0.2

See if you can delete the previous or older backups -- Get help backing up your device in iCloud - Apple Support

I don't have any older/previous back up, I have a 5GB free of space.
