How to copy 1080p videos from my iPhone?

I just shot a few 1080p videos and I Imported them using the photos app, however, when I copy them, instead of getting the full 1080p quality I am getting a downscaled 720p version in m4a format and not MOV.

I imported them and then just copied them to my Mac desktop.

A few months ago I just did the same thing and all my files were exported in 1080p but for some reason now I am only getting 720p?

Anyone have a clue? Thanks
