Problems with Garageband 6.0.5 after El Capitan update...

I was recording a podcast with a Yeti microphone and in garageband 6.0.5 and during recording the mic would hiccup repeatedly during the recording. Never had this issue before the update. I changed nothing in regards of settings or equipment. I only updated the OS. During the show the sounds would loop and not stop until either I restarted the app or unplugged my mic. Happened 3 times in the first 20 minutes of recording. Any ideas why thats happening? Garageband 6.0.5 and a Blue Yeti mic. I can't record and not happy.
