I was able to migrate an old PC that was already using the iCloud for Windows sync with Outlook to Outlook 2016 but on a brand new laptop I am not able to get the Outlook integration to work. Instead, I get an error message stating that I repair it from the control panel, which I have done several times. Any ideas?

I have read that iCloud Control and Office 2016 will not work together with Windows 10. Apple is not supporting iCloud for Windows with Windows 10 yet.
How can the major communications supplier allow this kind of neglect to their millions of users? I have the same issue with icloud and outlook 2016 not syncing...very frustrating. What will apple do?
Since I am not Apple, just a user like you, I cannot be sure. However I suspect they will be updating iCloud to work with the new software, as I suspect they will be releasing a version of iTunes that is certified to work with Windows 10. You could always contact Apple and ask them.

It simply confirms that calendar sync won't work with Office 2016. Email? Yes. Calendar? No.
So in true form, a Microsoft Internet product does not support established Internet protocols.
I had the same problem. I had to remove office 2016, install office 2013, then install Icloud. THEN... re-install office 2016 and you should be all set.
There is another problem to be solved: when using icloud.com do not have export my contacts to a file. WHY???
Obviously Apply gives users updates program without all the features.
