Beginner app developer: Objective-C vs. Swift

I am currently 17 and just bought my first mac but I have been interested in making iOS games for about a year now. I am just wondering what the best route for me to take is. should I learn Objective-C or Swift first? Or should I start off with something else. Also what is the overall best route for me to take in becoming an app developer. Thank you
