ios 9.0.2 bluetooth connection issue

Hi anyone and Apple support,

Since upgrading my iPhone 5c to the iOS 9.0.2, I'm unable to play music through my car's bluetooth connection. I've reset all of the bluetooth settings on both car and phone and can get as far as successfully pairing the device, but when I play music, the sound comes back through my phone rather than the car speakers.

Strangely I can control the music from the car stereo, the stereo displays all the correct information about what song is playing etc, and I can also make and receive phone-calls via bluetooth just fine. It just won't push the music through the car speakers.

Any suggestions appreciated!
