Not able to login to AppStore after upgrade to ElCapitan, shows the loading spinner

If you are unable to log into the App Store or iTunes Store on your Mac, I would first suggest working through the steps located in the following article.

Mac

• Make sure that you have the latest versions of iTunes and Safari.
• If you have a firewall, your settings might prevent you from connecting to the iTunes Store. Learn how to configure your firewall.
• Connection issues are occasionally caused by keychain issues. Use Keychain First Aid to reset your keychain.
• If you see a specific error message, get more help with fixing the issue.

If there's still an issue after you try the steps above, contact your Internet service provider and confirm that these ports and servers are turned on for your network.

Hi folks,

after i updated to el capitan i suddenly could not update apps and stuff like icloud etc. did not work.

Was googleing around the last three days and wasting energy i found out the fix now.

Sometimes its the easier things...i had an entry in my "hosts" file which blocked communication to apple servers, possibly due to an iOS Jailbreak attempt earlier =)

The Keychain did not help in this case, now i have to find a way to reimport my old keychain backup.

i hope some people read this and fix their machines, this drove me crazy for three nights now and there a few guys having this problem according my search attemps =)

IM having the same problem my phone says iTunes is unav at this time!
