How do I transfer all my apps and data from my ipad 3 to my new ipad?
iPad Air, iOS 8.4
- Backup the device to iTunes or iCloud.
- Restore the backup to the new device.
If using iTunes note that it may no longer transfer all app purchases from your device. Use iTunes > Music > iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Apps > Not on my Computer to locate and download any apps that are not in your library before attempting to restore, and make sure that all the apps you have are up to date. Otherwise you may lose data associated with an app that isn't available during the restore phase.
