Q: It doesn't seem to work on El Capitan..

I tried to install on El Capitan and it gives an incompatibility error. Can you fix this apple? Or do I need to reinstall an older os?

According to the apple support site, this update is only for OS X 10.5.6

I read it :-(. I restored a mavericks time machine backup. The firmware update did install on Mavericks but it didn't find my adapter in a MacBook Air.
Fact is my adapter still flickers and shakes from time to time on external displays what is not a typical Apple premium experience for me.
